About DG Strategic Advisors

I started a distribution business out of a bedroom and a cargo van — and grew it over 17 years to nearly $20M in revenue, with a team of 60+. Along the way, I learned that growth only happens when you hire smarter, listen harder, and keep learning. Peer advisory boards and coaches shaped me almost as much as my wins (and stumbles).

I’ve been on the shop floor with a mop, in delivery trucks, the warehouse, and in boardroom meetings with private equity firms — sometimes all in the same day. Whether it’s setting up ERP systems, installing QuickBooks, planning strategy, or helping an owner see around corners, I bring perspective earned from living it — not just reading about it.

Today, I work as a fractional operator and advisor, building systems, leading teams, and rolling up my sleeves to get things done. I’ve consulted across industries — pet products, wine & spirits, beauty supply, restaurant supply, engineering and technology, procurement, marketing & branding, and my longest client relationship is a party bus company.

Outside the business world, I served for 10 years as a volunteer firefighter/EMT and earned a private pilot’s license. Those experiences taught me adaptability, calm under pressure, and steady leadership.

At home, I’m “Papa Dan” to four kids and five grandkids. That’s what keeps me grounded — staying steady, being transparent, and focused on what matters most: helping people and businesses grow.
